
Dartmouth Crash Causes Temporary Closure of State Road
DARTMOUTH — Drivers beware: State Road, otherwise known as Route 6, in Dartmouth is temporarily closed between Slocum and Hathaway roads this morning due to a car crash.
Dartmouth Police made the announcement on Facebook just after 6 a.m. Wednesday, stating that the road will be closed in both directions.
Drivers are asked to seek an alternate route.

Further information about the crash or what time the road can be expected to reopen was not provided.
State police representatives could not immediately be reached for comment.
The portion of State Road that has been closed runs alongside the Country Club of New Bedford.
