DARTMOUTH - With a major Nor'easter bearing down on the Southcoast, the Town of Dartmouth is announcing several measures ahead of the snowfall that is expected to begin Monday night.

PARKING BAN

The parking ban in Dartmouth begins at 10 p.m., Monday, March 12, and lasts through 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, unless otherwise announced.

During the ban, there is no parking on the hydrant side of the street. If there is no hydrant in your area, park on the even house numbered side.

SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING COLLECTION DELAY

Due to the impending storm, starting Tuesday, March 12, all solid waste and recycling collection will be delayed by one day.

If your normal pick up day is Tuesday, it will be picked up on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

If your normal pick up day is Wednesday, it will be picked up on Thursday, March 15, 2018.

If your normal pick up day is Thursday, it will be picked up on Friday, March 16, 2018.

TRANSFER STATION CLOSING

In addition to the delay of solid waste and recycling pick-up, the Dartmouth transfer station will be closed Tuesday, March 13.
