Christopher Meloni Is Coming Back as Det. Elliot Stabler
The rumors are true and we are so happy about this. Christopher Meloni is returning to TV and is set to play his legendary character for which he was nominated for an Emmy, Detective Elliot Stabler, for a new NBC series from Law & Order creator Dick Wolf.

He will star in a 13-episode series following Stabler as he heads up an organized crime division of the NYPD. While not confirmed, this would likely be considered another spinoff of Wolf’s long-running Law & Order franchise, which currently includes SVU and crossovers with the Chicago series. Ice-T, who was Meloni's co-star on SVU for many years, is very excited for his friend.
