A girl from Westport, Connecticut is ready to make big waves in the music industry. Her talent was noticed in high school and she knew to capitalize on it by attending UMass Amherst.

Chelsea Cutler got signed back in 2018 to Ultra Records and has been making dance music. She is working her butt off and earning fans all over. After Chelsea recently announced a tour, she got a guest spot on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Her tour will be bringing her to the House of Blues in Boston on Thursday, February 27. The first show sold out so they have added a second show on the Friday as well. I'm hearing her shows are high energy even though her song latest single is called "Sad Tonight."

The UMass student just released an album on one of the biggest record labels in the world, Republic Records. The album is called How to Be Human and just dropped on January 17.

So here is the first single the label wants to push to radio. It's super catchy and upbeat. Keep in mind, she has really developed herself as an artist in the Electronic Dance Music, or EDM, world but this song is straight pop.

In case you missed us playing it on the air, take a listen:

So does this Connecticut girl have herself a hit? Or is this song totally whack?
