Chancery Street Home Struck by Possible Gunfire in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police are investigating a reported incident of shots fired in the city's West End on Monday night.

ShotSpotter, the city's gunshot detection system, reported possible shots fired in the area of 409 Middle Street at about 9:53 p.m. on Monday.

Investigating officers arrived at the scene and found damage consistent with bullets in a home in the 100-block of Chancery Street.

No injuries were reported.
