Not ready to rush past Thanksgiving, but want to get a jump on holiday shopping? Then Fall River's Thanksmas Market is where you need to be this weekend.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, 4 to 8 p.m., Sullivan Drive in downtown Fall River will be a craft-filled wonderland, where adults can start their shopping and kids can take part in holiday activities.

Over 70 SouthCoast crafters are going to line the street selling great gifts and holiday décor. The picturesque cobblestoned pedestrian walkway of Old Second Street will feature shopping, firepits and lights to give everything a cozy, festive vibe.

If you get hungry for a bite to eat, Thanksmas has you covered with a variety of food trucks parked close by. Food options will be offered from Cluck Truck, Donnell's Bakery, Friskie Fries, Green Jar Cocina, JQ Cheesesteaks, Mario's Lebanese Bakery, Pop's Brick Oven Pizza, Red's Kitchen, Tiki Turbo and What's Up Cupcake.

Yum!

Don't forget to bring the kiddos, too. The market will have a free craft activity from the Greater Fall River Art Association plus activities for the kids, thanks to the Children’s Museum of Greater Fall River and The Trustees of Reservations.

If all that wasn't enough, there is going to be free face-painting and a visit from the Grinch, 5 to 7 p.m.

The market is also going to be one of many sites for the United Way Winter Clothing Drive, so you can donate your gently used winter wear as well.

So much is happening in downtown Fall River this Saturday, so mark your calendars and get a jump on the season at the Thanksmas Market with Viva Fall River, The City of Fall River, The Fall River Farmers & Artisans Market and Craftyish Shop.
