Carver Woman Dies After Crashing into Utility Pole
CARVER (WBSM) — One person has died after a car crash in Carver Wednesday morning.
Carver Police, Fire and EMS responded to 240 Main Street at 5:38 a.m. for reports of a single-vehicle crash. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 56-year-old Carver woman, was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth, where she was pronounced dead.
Her identity has not yet been released.
A portion of Route 58 was closed while investigators were on scene.
