If your social feeds are anything like mine, then you have probably seen ads pop up for those dreamy candlelight concerts and thought, "that looks really cool—I should totally check this out."

Well, now we've got one happening right here on the SouthCoast and clearly this is a sign that I should finally turn my thoughts into actions.
The Viral Candlelight Concert Trend Explained
Lumos Experiences brings orchestras and musicians around the world performing contemporary and classical shows in unique venues. On Saturday, July 18, a string trio will play in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Elm Street in Dartmouth.

Coldplay Music Meets Candlelight in Dartmouth
The show is Coldplay-inspired, meaning the musicians will be playing some of Coldplay's biggest hits—like "Yellow", "Fix You", "Viva La Vida" and more—while surrounded by the glow of candlelight.

Considering the massive arch over the St. Peter's alter, this is bound to feel like something straight out of a movie.

Showtimes, Tickets and What to Expect
There are actually two showtimes (7 p.m. and 9 p.m.), and tickets range from $20–$70 depending on where you sit. Not bad for something that feels a little more elevated than your typical night out.

Everyone I know that has experienced one of these concerts describes them as intimate and magical, yet I've never made the leap to attend one myself. Now that it's happening in Dartmouth, it feels like the perfect excuse to finally go.

Whether you are a huge Coldplay fan or are just looking for a different kind of date night, this might be one of those "'let's do this' summer experiences you just say yes to."
