Buckle Up, This Might Be the Summer of Stronger Hard Seltzers
Whoever said this upcoming summer wasn't going to be "lit" clearly hasn't found out about White Claw's recent product that was just launched.
It's called White Claw Hard Seltzer "Surge" and it's a gluten-free gift from the booze gods above.
Weighing in at an eight percent alcohol by volume, this devilish can of delight is almost half of its original branding. Oh, and did I mention it's only available in a 16-ounce can? That's four more ounces than most White Claws and its mission is to get you to your buzz destination quicker. In other words, buckle up, it's about to be a bumpy ride this summer.
With zero calories and only two grams of carbs, it's a weight watchers' dream and I can't wait to indulge in a couple of these cans.
As of now, White Claw is only introducing two flavors, Blood Orange and Cranberry, into the world of hard seltzers and quite frankly, I'm OK with that. I mean, the lime flavor, in my opinion, is the best one on the market, but beggars can't be choosers (at least that's what my mother taught me).
Will the rise (or Surge) of the new eight percent ABV White Claw open doors for other hard seltzer companies to mimic? If so, we might be in for one headache of a summer. After all, the saying goes, "There ain't no law when you're drinking the claw" and I'm here to remind you folks that this will only bring about trouble and possible jail time. So if you don't want to get in trouble with the law, be responsible when drinking the "claw."
