‘Breaking Bad’ Stars Enjoy Some Brews at Popular Boston Watering Hole
Imagine sharing a beer with Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.
Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, the stars of the AMC and FX Drama Breaking Bad, were all smiles in Boston over the weekend when they stopped at Trillium Fenway after promoting their tequila next door.
Cheers to Dos Hombres Tequila
After creating a long-lasting friendship on the set of Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston decided to embark on a new adventure: selling delicious Mezcal.
“We started Dos Hombres to create a Mezcal that we thought was perfect,” said the two stars. “A unique blend of the finest Espadin agave, hand-selected from the hillsides of a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico.”
To spread the word on Dos Hombres, Paul and Cranston hosted a lively event at Time Out Market in Boston, an innovative eating-and-drinking destination that features the city’s top chefs, most-talked-about restaurants, and buzziest bars.
“Mezcal > Tequila,” said TimeOut online. “We had an unreal time hosting Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, and Dos Hombres today. Thanks to everyone who showed up — you really brought the energy.”
Guests were invited to enjoy Dos Hombres Cocktail Specials created by the Time Out Assistant General Manager and Beverage Director, Matt Harding. While Harding created cocktails like the “Naked and Famous”, it was Cranston and Paul behind the bar, slinging drinks to eager fans.
“Such a great event, got to take pics and meet both Aaron and Bryan, super nice personable guys,” said one online user.
But before this promoted event, guests next door at Trillium Fenway were starstruck when they realized they were enjoying beers alongside the Breaking Bad boys.
Trillium Fenway’s Story
"Even @doshombres can not live on mezcal alone!" said Trillium online.
Cranston and Paul posed with the Trillium owners for a photo while they enjoyed some IPAs before they switched it up to Dos Hombres.
