Boston is notorious for expensive parking spots but we didn't quite think we would have to take a mortgage out for one.

With the MBTA soon running from the SouthCoast, I'm sure there will be less of us driving up to Boston. Still, I'm sure we all remember the crazy prices we would pay for parking when traveling up to the city.

Most of us hate paying the few bucks it takes to park in downtown New Bedford or Fall River of even heading over to Providence. When we do go to Boston, we expect to pay at least $20 to $50 to park.

I guess it shouldn't come to us as a surprise that there was a parking spot for sale in Boston for $750,000.00. That's just for the space; there are other fees you have to cover monthly, and it has some stipulations.

The official listing for 70 Brimmer Street Garage in Beacon Hill shared that the average monthly mortgage payment for this would be around $4,800, plus homeowner's association fees. This was a pretty rare listing as these spots having a waiting list of people wanting to purchase them.

The Brimmer Street Garage actually started selling these spaces back in the 1970s for about $7,500 and as the area began to flourish, so did the demand and value of these parking spaces.

It's worth noting that just like everything the price has more than doubled on this space since the last time it was listed, and that the space, while just listed, has already been put under agreement.

Yes, someone has purchased a parking space in Boston for three quarters of a million dollars.

There is a full service aspect to this garage; they do gas up and clean your car right there on site. That's a pretty awesome convenience.

For that price, I should probably plan on just living out of my car.

I'm sure someone with way too much money would happily purchase this parking space which also comes with valet service. You would have to make sure you have money for tip every time you want to park or retrieve your car.

I'm boujee, but this is a bit much even for me.
