Boston’s Logan Airport Vending Machine Brings Iconic White Castle Sliders to Terminal A

I don't travel nearly as much as I used to. Being a dad will do that to you, but whenever I did fly, there was always one thing at airports that drove me nuts: waiting forever for food when all I wanted was something quick to take with me.

Apparently, Boston Logan International Airport understood the assignment, and I'm just finding out about this, since it it was released back in 2025.

Logan now has a White Castle vending machine where travelers can grab the famous sliders without standing in another airport food line. When Logan announced the new machines in December, they were available in Terminal A near Gate A18, along with vending options from California Pizza Kitchen and The Cheesecake Factory.

White Castle Without the Road Trip

For me, White Castle has always been one of those foods that requires a mission. If I wanted the real deal, I'd normally be heading toward New York or New Jersey. Of course, the chain became even more famous thanks to the 2004 comedy Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, which somehow made those little square burgers feel like they were worth crossing state lines for. Thankfully, I can apparently satisfy that craving at Logan before boarding a plane.

Massport said its vending machines are available 24 hours a day, giving travelers another option during early flights, late arrivals or anytime they simply want to skip the food lines. Even better, Massport reported that Logan's White Castle machine became one of the top five performers among more than 1,000 airport kiosks around the country.

The Boldest Pre-Flight Meal Possible?

There is, however, one question that needs to be asked: how brave are you feeling before that flight? I'm just saying that eating a pile of White Castle sliders and then willingly climbing aboard an airplane for the next few hours is a level of confidence I can only respect.
