Boston Introduces Holiday Market at ‘Snowport’ This Season
This is the third year that the City of Boston will transform the Seaport District into a Winter Wonderland.
Snowport returns to Boston on Friday, November 19. The event is designed to be a hub for holiday happenings, including winter games, a tree market, “Light Up Seaport,” and new to the 2021 season will be a holiday market.
If you feel like taking a trip to the city, here’s what you can expect on your adventure.
Deck the Seaport
The entire district will be decorated for the holiday season. We’re talking thousands of twinkling lights above your head, a 3D wall of presents, and more. This is the perfect Insta-worthy holiday photo op.
Sixty local businesses will come together for this unique shopping experience. The market is new this season, but the need to support local small businesses during the holidays is a tale as old as time. These vendors appreciate your patronage. Find the full list of participating vendors at BostonSeaport.com.
If your family is on Team Real Tree in the great debate, consider purchasing yours from the tree market at Snowport. It’s sure to be an experience like no other.
All this shopping might make you hungry. Grab a bite to eat at one of the local eateries offering special menus to complete this holiday outing. The Tuscan Kitchen will serve pizza, calzones, and a craft cocktail menu among other options. Breezy Hill Orchard will have hot apple cider and apple cider donuts to sweeten things up for you and the crew. The outdoor dining space will have heated tents and seating areas.
All the Activities
Test out your curling skills or play some Bocce Ball. There will also be a few large-scale board games like Battleship and Jenga available. Then be sure to write your holiday wish on the “Winter Wish Wall.” The official tree lighting ceremony will take place on Friday, December 3 at “Light Up Seaport.”
