We all know it's Super Bowl Sunday, but it could be a whole lot more dominance for Boston today! As I started today, I was so hyped up about the Super Bowl I totally forgot that we had a full slate of Boston games ahead of us today. The Bruins were dropping the puck today and the Celtics were rocking the Garden, too.

Now, the best part of this is that the Bruins came out and set the tone early with a win. A nice little 1-0 win over the Washington Capitals. Then quickly I'm sure the city flipped over to catch what was happening with the Celtics.

The Celtics followed suit and did their job. They pulled out a tight one against the Oklahoma City Thunder and made it a two-win day after the 134-129 victory.

Obviously the Red Sox were not in action, but they don't need to be. They've already got their championship for this season and over another L.A. team no less.

So now we wait. Now we sit as the city calms and counts the minutes, seconds until kickoff.

It all started ON THIS DAY 17 years ago. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots won their first Super Bowl over the then St. Louis Rams. That win sparked this entire decade of dominance. Now here we are 17 years later again ready to watch the Pats and a somehow more handsome Tom Brady battle the Rams for the Lombardi Trophy.

All that's left to be said is....

LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
