"Each year the BLOWOUT team faces a difficult decision choosing the recipient for our annual efforts. In an unusual twist this year, we could not decide. With your help and generosity, BLOWOUT 2016 on August 13th will be a special day for two Dartmouth families.
Ryan Ferreira, a lifelong Dartmouth resident, passed away unexpectedly this year on April 25. Ryan, age 31, was a Firefighter/Paramedic for Dartmouth Fire District 1 for 13 years and a Firefighter/Paramedic in Walpole, where he served for 7 years. Ryan leaves behind his young daughter Isabella.
On May 29, 22 year old DJ Bishop of Dartmouth had a tragic accident. He fractured his neck and suffered a severe spinal cord injury leaving him paralyzed. He is currently working extremely hard in therapy at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. The Bishop family is faced with the uncertainty of DJ’s rehabilitation needs and future medical expenses.
We are honored to help these deserving families."

The Blowout will be on Saturday, August 13 from 12 - 10 pm.
