Billie Eilish, Lizzo Win Big at Emotional Grammy Awards
It was definitely not a typical Grammy Awards show like years past last night at the Staple Center in LA. Alicia Keys opened up the show as beautifully as she possibly could considering that earlier in the day, Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
Billie Eilish shared her thoughts on the tragic death of Kobe, Gianna and the others also lost in the crash. Keith Urban gave a great tribute to him last night even though he's never met him. Billie Ray Cyrus, Lil Nas X and Rick Ross were all very upset as well.
Billie Eilish swept all top categories at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night, including Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Record of the Year for "Bad Guy," and Best Pop Vocal Album for When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Lizzo won three Grammys last night including Best Pop Solo Performance for "Truth Hurts."
