Let the celebrity sightings continue.

Basketball legend Charles Barkley recently dropped in for breakfast at Fig Tree Cafe in Barnstable. The restraurant posted pictures of the basketball legend with staff on its Facebook page.

Apparently, Barkley had a great experience as he wanted to show appreciation to the employees for his meal.

"Such a nice guy," the cafe wrote, followed by four exclamation points. "He personally thanked my awesome kitchen team for cooking him breakfast."

His restaurant appearance comes several days after comedy icon Bill Murray was spotted at Turk's Seafood in Mattapoisett.

For those reading this who may not know who Barkley is, he has worn many hats. He was a basketball player for three NBA teams over 16 seasons,  has served as a commentator and has been on quite a few TV commercials, most famously as a spokesperson for Nike.

Let's just say he's up there with the likes of our very own Tom Brady as far as career accomplishments.

Since Barkley is now well into retirement, it appears he is making good use of his golf clubs.

After his cafe stop, he was caught taking in a round of gulf at the Oyster Harbors Golf Club in Osterville.

We weren't able to find out how his round of golf went but I have a feeling he didn't do too shabby.

Those who got to see this guy in person surely hurt their necks as Barkley's height is recorded to be 6 feet, 6 inches. As you can tell by the picture, he towers over most.

Regardless, it's still pretty awesome to see this beast of a basketball player out and about around Massachusetts.
