A pair of bald eagles were spotted in a Warwick park this week.

The National Bird of the United States must think the weather in New England is pretty nice these days because a pair of them have turned up in Goddard Park in Warwick.

According to NBC10, an Animal Control Officer was walking in the park with friends when she saw the bald eagles in a nearby tree.

She grabbed a few pictures of the historic birds and sent them to NBC10.

Animal Control Officer Brittany Cunningham told NBC 10 News she was walking in Goddard Park in #Warwick with a few friends when they spied two bald eagles.

No idea how long they'll be there, but if you have some time over these next few gorgeous days, maybe take a trip to see a bald eagle in person for yourself!
