Are Patriots Fans The Best In The NFL?

After every Super Bowl win, the Patriots credit the fans with being the best...but are they?

A study by Emory University actually took the time to calculate which team in the NFL has the best fans...and the Patriots were not number one.

The math involved in figuring all this out is not my strong suit, but basically the study analyzes the number of fans, how much team merchandise they buy, how filled the stadiums are each week and how many road games fans are likely to attend.

And when you break it all down, here's the Top 5 fan bases in the NFL...

1. Dallas Cowboys

2. New England Patriots

3. Philadelphia Eagles

4. New York Giants

5. Pittsburgh Steelers

Clearly all of those teams have some seriously die-hard fans, so I'd think coming in at #2 on this list is not too shabby.
