Not only is there a farmer's market...there are ALPACAS.

I might be biased on this event because it is essentially next door to my mom's house and the house I grew up in, but the fall festival at Partners is the most local yokel way to spend an October weekend.

The Fall Festival will take place on October 6 at Partner's Village Store on Main Road in Westport. Here's the schedule of events:

Music 12:00 - 2:00 pm: Spindle Rock River Rats Band
Book Signings 2:00 - 4:00 pm: Brian Amado, with his debut young adult novel, Coin Toss and Catherine McLaughlin, Author of Blue Collars
Kave Rock Farm 10:00 am - 4:00 pm: Alpacas and Alpaca wares
Farmers Market 10:00 am - 4:00 pm: Mixed variety of vendors

I think I've been to this fair every year and it's always adorable (mostly because of the alpacas.) But Partner's also has a cafe inside so you can listen to music, get something to eat, and sit on their big wraparound porch.
