What is ‘The College Tour’?

The College Tour is a television series that tells the story of a single college through the eyes of its students. Each episode covers a different school, from its academics to its athletics and more.

The show is hosted by Alex Boylan, a television show host and producer most commonly known for his appearance on reality show The Amazing Race in 2002. Nowadays, he visits campuses around the world and gives students the opportunity to humbly brag about their respective campuses.

RWU Gets the Spotlight

Airing on Amazing Prime in March, select students of Roger Williams will represent the campus as they share their experiences of being a Hawk, including RWU senior Alyssa Foerster from Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, who majors in Construction Management, and Dom Emmanuel, a senior from Burlington who majors in Legal and Cultural Studies.

Amy Tiberio, the Vice President for the Enrollment Management at RWU had this to say:

“We have been so proud of what we are doing as a university and how we are preparing our students with a multi-disciplinary, hands-on, and social justice-informed learning environment. Many people call us 'the best kept secret' in New England, and we are thrilled to share our story and what makes Roger Williams University distinctive to a national audience. We have world-class academic programs, a vibrant college life, and a safe and gorgeous campus nestled along the coast. Being featured on The College Tour is incredibly exciting for our entire community and a great opportunity to continue to showcase our university to students who may not have otherwise been introduced to RWU.”

As a native Rhode Islander, I am very familiar with how a college by the sea offers a beautiful setting for any student looking for a good education paired with coastal vibes, and now the world gets to see the magic of the Ocean State and all it has to offer for a person’s future.

Keep an eye out for Roger Williams University on Amazon Prime for Episode 7 of The College Tour.
