Duxbury Mansion Owned by Aerosmith’s Joe Perry Hits the Market for $4.5M
Not all rock stars live in Hollywood. Some live in Massachusetts.
Aerosmith’s Joe Perry is the owner of sprawling estate in Duxbury, and he recently put it on the market for $4.5 million.
Joe Perry was the founding member and lead guitarist of one of the most influential rock bands of all time. Perry, Steven Tyler, Brad Whitford, Joey Kramer, and Tom Hamilton joined forces in the 1960s to form Aerosmith, and would go on to collect dozens of awards and accolades, still touring to this day.
Perry had been living in Duxbury at Brook Haven Farm, a seven-acre estate secluded by marshland and wooded areas, but it looks like he and his wife are moving on to greener pastures.
If you’re ready to drop a couple million dollars to live like a legendary rock star, this mansion is up for grabs, and Perry’s influence on the home is seen throughout its construction. A guitar-shaped, in-ground pool is the focal point of the backyard, and upon entering the home, you will notice two guitars inscribed into the marble floor. The railing made of guitar necks is a nice touch, too.
But not everything at Brook Haven Farm is rock and roll. The home’s listing from Coldwell Banker Realty describes the home as “paradise” with 14 rooms, rooftop garden, pool, and a detached carriage house with a three-stall barn and tack room. It perfectly blends rustic living with modern design as the soaring ceilings and exposed beams intertwine with luxurious fixtures.
