A Private Tour of Dartmouth’s New Ocean State Job Lot [PHOTOS]

The grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a cash donation of $500 to the OSJL Charitable Foundation’s “Close to Our Heart” recipient, The Massachusetts Military Support Foundation; a kayak package for raffle to Dartmouth High School; a pallet of food donated to My Brother’s Keeper Food Pantry; and an entire tractor-trailer truck’s worth of food to the Greater Boston Food Bank.

When Ocean State Job Lot came to Fairhaven to occupy the old Shaw's supermarket location, I was very excited. I was there broadcasting live for their Grand Opening celebration—and of course, I was also there to shop.🙋🏼👜

This new 30,724 square foot location, which was a former Toys "R" Us location, is the 52^nd Ocean State Job Lot location in Massachusetts and brings 50 new jobs to the SouthCoast.

The first thing I noticed about this new Dartmouth store is how many more aisles of food they have versus the other OSJL locations. Wow, the dry foods section was huge. I also think the Dartmouth location has a great Pet Supplies section (picture above).

The grand opening to the public is Saturday, May 4 at 8 a.m., with the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
