Three people were sent to the hospital after a fight in Fall River over the best way to care for reptiles.

It might be one of the strangest reasons to fight on record.  What was the cause of Friday night's brawl at Jurassic Jungle?  It's hard to believe, but according to the Herald News, the fight started over an argument about "proper reptile care techniques". One of the victims was arguing with 30-year-old Allen Weeks and 27-year-old James Dugan-Weeks about proper care and the argument ended up with Dugan-Weeks choking the victim while Weeks attacked.  One of the alleged victims told Fall River Police that the defendants were hanging around the store...drinking and smoking marijuana, according to the Herald News.

Jurassic Jungle's Facebook page states that the store normally closes at 8pm on Friday nights, however, this incident reportedly took place after midnight.

The fight then apparently left the store and spilled out onto East Main Street. One of the victims was apparently punched and kicked in the face. He told officers he thought he was going to die. Another victim was reportedly a woman.  While this was happening, two other people entered the store and got involved trying to help.

These people clearly take the subject of snakes, lizards and geckos seriously.

Weeks and Dugan-Weeks were arraigned yesterday in Fall River District Court. They will return to court Thursday for a dangerous hearing.

FUN 107 contacted Jurassic Jungle on the matter and they stated that "those individuals involved were on the premises after hours without the consent or permission of the owner and had no lawful purpose for being there. We will continue to focus on our patrons and running a family friendly shop and provide a safe environment for all."
