Happy Wet Nose Wednesday!

On Wednesday, we talk about animals.

Nothing beats the love of an animal, and if you are considering bringing an animal into your life, consider adoption.

There are hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast waiting for their forever homes, and thanks to the help of local shelters, we share their stories.

Each week, we give the spotlight to one animal looking for a home, and this week, we go to New Bedford where a little kitten is looking to go home for good.

Meet Polly, a 4-month-old kitten found as a stray in New Bedford and currently under the care of Moby Kit Rescue.

"She loves other cats and would be a great companion for playful cats of all ages," the rescue center said.

She doesn't like being held, but she loves to curl up at night and she will make a great cuddle buddy.

Polly is friendly. She is playful, smart, and curious, and she's at a great age to grow up with a loving family.

Polly's vaccinations are up to date, she is spayed, she does well with other animals, and she is house-trained.

Does Polly sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Moby Kit Rescue by phone or online at Pet Finder.
