Bartender! I'll have an All-American Lager please... It's National American Beer Day!As a beer connoisseur, I am openly happy to admit that I enjoy brews from all around the world. Every brewery perfects a different yet distinct taste from each other and that alone quenches my interest.

As much as I would love to enjoy a monsterous Fosters from Australia or a smooth yet bold tasting Guinness from Ireland... Today, I will celebrate and support my countries brew mastery by only consuming American-made brewskies.

Today, I tip my cap to the Craft-Brewer members of the Brewers Association of America who diligently master the exquisite taste and originality that characterizes each beer brand.

The best part about American-styled beer is that you have choices such as American pale ale, Pennsylvania porter, American IPA, steam beer, amber ale, cream ale and Cascadian dark ale. All are acceptable for consumption on this day of National recognition.

This Country as a whole has come a long way from the days of Prohibition. So if you're making a trip to your local package store today at any point, before you reach for the Becks or Heineken... Recognize the hard working American breweries who day after day produce a beer in hopes that you'll enjoy it just as much as they do.

Support your Nation's local craft beers and celebrate the years behind brewing giants such as Anheuser-Busch Inc, MillerCoors or even D. G. Yuengling and Son who have kept their family's recipe in production throughout even the toughest times of our Nation's history.

From West Coast to East Coast, sip responsibly the golden suds of a 21st Amendment Beer from San Francisco or an ice cold Sam Adams "Beah" from Boston. From sea to shining sea, American beer from all over the country holds a spot on today's National calendar.

Please Drink Responsibly.
