Summertime in the South Coast means that many will be heading out to Martha's Vineyard. Chances are, you're going to get hungry. We have scouted out a few great spots for you to chow down while waiting for that ferry ride.

Smoke'n Bones

Fan of BBQ food? Than look no further than this spot. A south coast twist on southern cuisine. Located in Oaks Bluff, they are only open for dinner. So if you want to go here starting in the morning, you'll have to wait. Want the food, but can't make it to the restaurant? That's okay, they cater, too.

The Seafood Shanty

You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't have seafood while on your trip. This place is a great local place, and has even been featured on the Food Network. Lunch, dinner, or sushi, the Seafood Shanty has something for everyone.

Lookout Tavern

Sushi, seafood, sandwiches and burgers. The Lookout Tavern has a little something for everyone. It also happens to be a great place to just grab some chicken wings and a beer. The Lookout was even voted the best Water View restaurant in 2010. Food, ocean view, and great company - what more could you ask for?
