It wasn't until just 3 years ago that I made my first visit to Plimoth Plantation.  It was a few days prior to our first annual day-before-Thanksgiving Morning Show broadcast from the visitor's center.  I had already lived in this area for nearly 15 years, and had never taken the time to see this amazing place.   I had seen the Mayflower II, and Plymouth Rock of course, but never this re-creation of life back in the 17th century.   In the English village  you go back in time to 1621.

Walk though the settlement, mingle with the colonists, and visit their humble homes just 7 years after the Mayflower landed.   Nearby is the Wampanoag Homesite.   See first-hand how the Wampanoag lived along the coast, planted their crops, fished and hunted.   There's also the visitor's center, Plimoth theater, restaurant and gift shop.

The Fun Morning show will be back for our 3rd annual live broadcast from Plimoth Plantation on Wednesday the 21st.   You would have to look long and far for more of the real taste of Thanksgiving than you'll find at Plimoth Plantation.
