As we know, holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas can be very special for most. For some families, however, it may be harder to experience all the joy the holidays offer.

With the season of giving upon us, there's no better way to spread holiday cheer than giving back to your community.

Many non-profit organizations throughout New Bedford, Fall River and other nearby SouthCoast communities support families and individuals during this time of year.

Different charitable programs, such as toy drives and food banks, are available and could use our help this season.
