This year, four New England restaurants made the first cut! Below is a list of the New England restaurants that you have to try according to Bon Appétit!

    Loyal Nine: Cambridge, Massachusetts

Loyal Nine is a minimalist restaurant with a exquisite menu. The restaurant itself is simple with wooden tables, benches, and sparse artwork on the walls. The menu, though, is quite the opposite of simple. Patrons have their choice of dishes such as braised lobster and whole roasted age duck. If your palate isn't craving something that fancy, then stop in at their adjoining cafe for a quick eat.

Tandem Coffee + Bakery: Portland, Maine

The last gem on the list is Tandem Coffee + Bakery in Portland, Maine.

The coffee shop and bakery retro aesthetic that only a 1960's gas station-turned-laundromat-turned-bakery could have. The 60's bakery is designed with colorblocked walls, metal stools, and sleek, sharp corners.

If you are in Maine stop in for all of your sugary sweet needs, it'll be worth it!
