A man in Lowell has sparked up an obsession with Ariana Grande and won't stop sending her gifts even after the police told him to stop.

According to MyFoxBoston.com, Ariana Grande's record label has contacted Lowell police about a man named Timothy Normandin who keeps on sending strange gifts to the young pop star. Normandin, who is 29 years old, was told to stop sending gifts to Ariana but refuses. The police told Normandin that if he keeps it up, he could be facing harassment charges. His gifts include a 42.5 lb pumpkin, 8 yankee candles, calendars, a mirror set, a $200 anklet, and a rock from the White Mountains.

I was trying to get her attention, and I thought that was the only way to do it it

"I was trying to get her attention, and I thought that was the only way to do it" said Tim. He has stated to MyFoxBoston that he does have a speech impediment and that his intentions are completely innocent. He continued saying he just wants to be her guardian and wants to talk about the future with her, that he loves her and wants something more than a friendship.

Normandin says it's not harassment and after the police told him to stop, he sent Ariana a clock. He said there was symbolism behind the clock because he knew the police would hunt him down and eventually make him do time for his actions.
