Leinenkugel’s Harvest Patch Shandy Has Arrived

The wait is officially over! All package and liquor store locations carrying Leinenkugel's product is now stocked with the new Harvest Patch Shandy!In case you haven't seen or heard about how excited I am about this new beer recipe from Leinenkugel's, it's pretty much one of the tastiest beers I have ever come across. It's a cross between the elegant taste of pumpkin, a minor note of all-spice and the sweet additive of nutmeg. It carries a mouth watering aroma that senses a caramelized pumpkin pie fresh from the oven.

The best part about this beer that sparked my attention was the ability to be able to have more than one without the full feeling most pumpkin beers will give you. The fact that it's a shandy (fruit infused beer) makes the new Harvest Patch light yet full of flavor at the same time. This will definitely be my first choice for when the fall season hits, but since it's not a heavy beer to say the least, I'm able to enjoy it no matter what the season may be!

During the taste testing in Fall River last weekend, I was very surprised to see people who are not only against the pumpkin taste, but non-beer drinkers all in all actually enjoy the Harvest Patch Shandy... Who knew?! We all know there are pumpkin beers that outdo themselves in the taste field, but once Leinenkugel's Harvest Patch Shandy takes flight, there will no room for competition.
