A Texas couple recently released a beer that's making history.

It's unlike any other brew out there and that's because it's made safe for your canine friend. Yes, you read that correctly: a beer for dogs called Good Boy Dog Beer.

I'm not going to lie, I've sat down on a Sunday afternoon next to my dog Jameson with a beer and always wondered what it would be like to share a beer with my buddy. That daydream has all of a sudden become a reality, and I couldn't be any happier.

Megan and Steve, an animal enthusiast Houston couple, created the first-of-its-kind beer to hit the shelves of liquor stores to focus solely on dogs.

There are currently four beers that are brewed for your fur babies:

  • IPA Lot in the Yard (pork-based)
  • Mailman Malt Licker (chicken-based)
  • Session Squirrel (veggie-based)
  • Crotch Sniffin’ Ale (peanut-based)

Unfortunately, these beers can only be found select cities/towns around Houston, Texas, but the couple says that online ordering will soon be available worldwide.

Good Boy Dog Beer, however, does not have a single drop or trace of alcohol in it and the company digresses to never give dogs or any animals alcohol at any point of time. Now that beer for dogs is actually a thing, somebody please take all my money, I'm ready to go home and have a beer with man's best friend. Is that too much to ask?
