The Kingdom of Cavershire will be taken over by wizards, witches and warlocks this October.

King Richard's Faire will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter this fall with an event devoted to witchcraft and wizardry on Saturday October 7th.

The event will be Harry Potter trivia and costume contests starting at 4 p.m. that Saturday, with a rain date of Sunday the 8th if needed.

Adults attending King Richard's Faire that day are encouraged to dress as their favorite Harry Potter characters and test their Hogwarts knowledge with a trivia challenge.

There will be prizes for winners and even a special prize for "Best Costume" after the trivia contest wraps up.

And if you can't wait that long for Harry Potter fun, check out this Mashpee Commons event happening July 8th.
