When is WizardFest 2023?

The biggest WizardFest to date is coming to the Boxboro Regency Hotel in Boxborough MA, August 25-27, 2023.

Technically it's not just about the wizard's though. Officially called the New England WizardFest and Magic Convention, this three-day event features magic shows, vendors booths, trivia contests, wizard classes and even live action wizard chess on a giant 20x20 foot chessboard.

There will be sorting sessions throughout Saturday and Sunday, so Potter fans can see which Hogwarts House they'd be part of. Wizard classes throughout the weekend for anyone age 6 or older to learn Astronomy, Potions and Charms. Even a Wizard's Ball on Saturday night where the 18+ Harry Potter crowd can dance the night away.

But the big news from WizardFest 2023 is the additional of actors and actresses from the film series and fans' opportunity to meet with them.

Which Harry Potter Stars are at New England WizardFest 2023?

Obviously Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint  aren't on the WizardFest bill. But their friends and family from the films definitely are.

Scheduled to appear at WizardFest later this month are Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley from the Harry Potter films), Sean Biggerstaff (Quidditch captain Oliver Wood from the films), Jim Tavaré (actor who portrayed The Leaky Cauldron innkeeper Tom) and Ellie Darcy-Alden (young Lily Potter from final Harry Potter film).

All the actors scheduled to appear will be part of a group interview on Friday night to kick off the weekend long event and will have scheduled meet and greet times to take photos with fans throughout the three-day event as well.

Potter fans young and old are going to be flocking to Boxborough later this month and you can learn more about joining them here.
