Congratulations to Fun 107's SouthCoast Teacher of the Month for February 2020. Thank you to our sponsor, ProGroup Contracting, for helping to make this school classroom even better.

Ms. Doyle is a second-grade teacher at the John William Decas School in Wareham who received an amazing nomination for the SouthCoast Teacher of the Month Contest in February. Needless to say, our sponsor ProGroup Contracting was seriously impressed after reading about all the wonderful work she's done. She was the obvious choice for this month's award, which contained many supplies for her class to enjoy, as well as an Electronic Dream Basket. It was filled with several devices to make her beloved classroom even better for her students.

An anonymous peer or perhaps a parent submitted this nomination letter about Ms. Doyle to Fun 107:

"2nd-grade at John William Decas School, Wareham

“Ms. Doyle goes above and beyond for her class. She’s always wearing cool dresses and doing so many fun things for the class. She pays attention to each kid and spends her own money and time to make sure they have what they need. She keeps in contact with parents and will call even if she notices your child has an off week, just to check in and talk about how we can work together. She often stays late after school planning lessons etc. She applied and received a grant for her class to go read to the elderly at a nursing home. She does not have the whole class on the same learning path, she does it individually. Ms. Doyle should absolutely receive this award, and I know all the parents and educators at Decas Elementary will agree!”

Congratulations to Ms. Doyle and everyone over at the John William Decas School who work so hard each and every day to make a fun learning environment for all our kids.

If your child’s teacher is one of those amazing human beings that goes above and beyond for their students and deserves some recognition this year, nominate him or her for the Teacher of the Month award. They may be as lucky as Ms. Doyle.

Let’s show our teachers some love for working so hard for our kids.
