Burgers: An All-American Food
What kind of sauces, topping or condiments do you like on your burger?
One of the things we enjoy most during the summer months is eating a hot and juicy hamburger right off the grill.
Although toppings may differ from state to state or according to taste, one thing remains the same. Americans love their hamburgers. “On average, Americans eat three hamburgers a week. That’s a national total of nearly 50 billion burgers per year,” according to PBS.
I enjoy as many vegetables on my burger as possible along with yellow mustard. However, Taste of Home Magazine states that many Massachusetts residents enjoy ladling “hot Boston baked beans over their burger” then “load it up with caramelized onions on toasted slices of Boston brown bread.”
Now my husband has one more reason to eat another hamburger!
