British Actor Enjoys Boston’s North End Eats

As country's cuisine goes, English food isn't exactly my favorite. So it was no surprise that a British actor would be enjoying the food while filming in Boston.

Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch is one of many actors on location for the Whitey Bulger movie Black Mass. And while he's in town filming he is apparently enjoying all the delicacies of Boston's North End.

As People magazine reports Cumberbatch went out to eat on Saturday night with his co-stars Joel Edgerton and Jesse Plemmons enjoying authentic Italian like meatballs, exploding clams, asparagus baked with quail egg and shaved parmesan and black garlic beef at Carmelina's on Hanover Street.

The crew then made their way to the popular Modern Pastry for coffee and cannolis. Cumberbatch's first even cannoli! Going for a plain ricotta cannoli, Cumerbatch reportedly loved the Italian dessert.

The group were said to have enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and staff say they were excellent tippers!
