I think we've all been there...you want to eat something healthy and you're faced with a whole bunch of non-healthy options instead.

Most of the time, it's easiest (and cheapest) to just give in and get the unhealthy thing...whether you're on the road going through a drive-thru, at a restaurant, or maybe you're at work or in a hotel and your only option is a vending machine packed with tasty nonsense. I've been there! I walk over the vending machine, thinking to myself, eh, I'll get something decent out of here. Yeah, that is until I'm presented with chips, cookies, cupcakes, soda, and maybe a semi healthy yet carb-filled option, pretzels.

Well, that could all change with the 'Farmer's Fridge'. It's a healthy version of a vending machine, presenting items like vegetables and hummus, apples and almond butter, yogurt and salad! Yes, it's more expensive than your typical vending machine, but I'd be willing to pay more for better quality food!

Right now, the 'Farmer's Fridge' is only available at the Chicago Marriott O'Hare hotel chain. However, if it does well, we could be seeing these vending machines all over, including around Massachusetts! Fingers crossed!
