A Providence youth football coach is fired and team kicked out of the league after he put an 18 year-old in a game against 13 and 14 year-old children.

According to Turn to 10, parents saw the young man getting into uniform on the sidelines during the game in Scituate.

The team he played on was the Capital City Buccaneers, who were losing at the time. He played through several plays before getting kicked out.The illegal player is the older brother of one of the players on the team. Team founder Alexandra Diaz said she fired the coach and ended the season for the team.

“If I was there, that would never ever happen because safety of these kids is more important to me than anything. That's not how I run my program,” Diaz said, explaining how she stepped away from the game for a few minutes when the incident happened.
