Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's find this sweet animal a family.

Hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast are patiently waiting to call a place home. Thanks to the help of local shelters, we get to share their stories.

This week, we head to Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River where a 7-month-old puppy hopes to steal your heart.

Meet Saba, a 7-month-old, 27-pound husky mix with a beautiful coat and loving eyes.

"She has the sweetest, kindest, gentlest soul you will ever meet," the shelter said.

She starts off shy when encountering new people, but she is typically easy to win over.

"Her curiosity normally wins out and she'll start her little army crawl/wiggle over to investigate while her tail wags," the shelter said.

Saba is a big fan of nose boops, whether it's a greeting or showing affection to her toys or other dogs.

"She's OK with other dogs once she learns that they're not terrifying and they encourage her to play," the shelter said.

Saba would be best suited around children 12 years of age or older, and with a slow introduction she would do just fine with cats.

Does Saba sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Forever Paws Animal Shelter online, click adopt, and download their application. Once complete, email it to fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to 508-677-9175.

Saba cannot wait to meet you.
