Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's talk animals.

Nothing beats the unconditional love that an animal can bring to a home. It's safe to say that we need them just as much as they need us, and if you are considering a new pet for your home, consider adopting.

There are hundreds of animals living at local shelters, just waiting for a place to call home, and every week, we give one animal the spotlight in hopes of finding the perfect forever home.

This week, we head to Fall River where a lively puppy is looking to bring joy to any home.

Meet Hash Brown. Hash Brown is only 5 months old and is currently under the care of Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.

The shelter believes he is a fox terrier/corgi mix, and because he is so young, he would do well in any home that is ready for zoomies and puppy shenanigans.

Hash Brown loves squeaky toys and will do anything for belly rubs. He does well with other dogs, he does well with cats, and he would most likely do well with children 8 years of age and older.

"He just wants to be friends with everyone he meets," said the shelter.

Does Hash Brown sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Forever Paws online and click 'adopt' to download the application. Once complete, email it to fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to 508-677-9175.

Hash Brown cannot wait to meet you.
