Urban Grille Restaurant Closes In New Bedford

As one New Bedford restaurant launched this week, another closed its doors.  The Urban Grille announced on their Facebook page that they have closed for good.

It is with a very heavy heart and much sadness that I have to announce the closing of the Urban Grille.I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the wonderful patrons and friends I have made since we opened in September of 2012. A special thanks to my Urban Grille family for believing in me and the Urban Grille, without their support I don't know if I could have made it through this very challenging year both professionally and personally.. Pinho also commented that he had found himself in a bad deal with his business partner, "There's an entire back story to this that involved my former partner that I can't get into publicly."

Pinho says he's reached out to other restaurants in the city to see if they'll honor gift cards that have already been purchased to the Urban Grille.
