Two Fall River Men Steal Tips From Trash Collectors

Just how low can you go?   Well two men from Fall River have been arrested on charges they stole Christmas tips that were left by residents for their trash collectors.  

It happened Tuesday In Wareham when officers responded to a call about 2 suspicious men in a VW Jetta driving on Swifts Beach Road.   The caller told police the men were removing envelopes that had been attached to trash barrels.

When their car was searched, police say they found ripped envelopes, cash and gift cards.   As long as there are very sinister and shady people amongst us, it may be a good idea to send the cards and tips to the headquarters of the company that employs the trash collectors.

They work very hard all year and are more than deserving of any gratitude shown by their customers.
