We learned this week that Fun 107, the Southcoast's #1 Hit Music Station, was no longer going be welcome aboard the school buses in Dartmouth. After thinking about it, we have decided to not take this laying down.
The Dartmouth school board has been getting complaints from parents, who say Fun 107 is too offensive for young children to listen to on district school buses.
We have been planning the event for weeks, and ever since the word spread that we are having our Chocolate Affair at Rachel's Lakeside, different companies have been enticing us with delicious chocolate treats non stop.
The weather is starting to heat up, which means everyone is starting to prepare for the summer season in New Bedford and beyond.

Durfee High and Bishop Connolly are fighting it out for first place while its a close race for third and fourth place between New Bedford Voke Tech, Diman Regional, and New Bedford High School, although any school can still take third and fourth place. Votes for round one close on Friday then the top 4 battle it out for the first place prize!
It has to be one of the worst traffic situations in the area, and it's been that way for years. We've all experienced it as we take exit 12 from 195, and we've all seen the many fender-benders that happen due to that mess.
