Hard to believe it, but Halloween 2023 is behind us. I'm not sure what it was like where you were, but at my home we definitely saw an increase in activity from trick-or-treaters. Maybe it's because the price of candy is so high with inflation?

Now that our kids are too old to go out trick-or-treating, my wife and I love seeing the little ones walking around in their Halloween costumes. We saw some really creative homemade costumes last night, which are always the best.

It was also great to see so many adults, mostly moms and dads, dressed up in costumes as they walked their kids around the neighborhoods.

We got so many pictures via the Fun 107 app and on Facebook that we decided to share as many as we could. It would be impossible to share them all, but here are some that caught our eye.

My favorite was the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese costume (even though it makes me hungry to think about it).  We also liked the world's smallest UPS driver.

Luckily, some of the coldest temperatures in the region held off until a little later in the evening. It wasn't warm out by any means, but it was barely warm enough to brave the streets without Mom forcing you to ruin your costume by putting a jacket over it.  After all, no apocalyptic zombie worth his salt wears a jacket.

Enjoy. Maybe these will give you some inspiration for next Halloween.

LOOK: How Halloween has changed in the past 100 years

Stacker compiled a list of ways that Halloween has changed over the last 100 years, from how we celebrate it on the day to the costumes we wear trick-or-treating. We’ve included events, inventions, and trends that changed the ways that Halloween was celebrated over time. Many of these traditions were phased out over time. But just like fake blood in a carpet, every bit of Halloween’s history left an impression we can see traces of today.
