For some people, this time of year means lots of time off from work – which means catching up on what everyone is posting and chatting about on social media.

Right now, all I keep seeing on my Facebook is everyone watching and reacting to the Netflix series You. Pair that up with the fact that everyone and their mother got a Disney Plus membership for the holidays and I have a feeling we've all been planting our butts on our couch this last week or so.

What happens when you have watched it all? I have a few friends that are constantly posting on social media, asking what they should watch next. I don't know about you, but I have found that Netflix and all the other streaming services are endless pits of content. I don't know how it would be possible to watch it all.

Also, one last vent if don't mind: why is Netflix so good at keeping us hooked? At least a handful of times I have wanted to go to bed at a decent hour and I tell myself I'll only watch one episode. Before I know it it's 2 a.m. and I have been watching for over eight hours. Just one more episode, I tell myself. That's never the case. Maybe we need parental controls on how much we watch?

Be honest, how much streaming have you done on holiday break? Probably more than you want to admit. I'm thinking i need to cancel my subscriptions so I can be a more productive human being.
