Seth MacFarlane Says “No Way” To Hosting Again

With this year's ratings up 11 percent, does the Academy want Seth MacFarlane to host the Oscars again?

It's doesn't really matter because the comedian said he won't return as host. The "Family Guy" creator tweeted early today saying "No way. Lotta fun to have done it though." Fox News says the audience was one million people larger than last year's award show, but critics have trashed Macfarelane's hosting job, calling his jokes inappropriate and sexist.

It seems Macfarlane took notice of the negative reviews but maintained his sense of humor. He tweeted a photo of his cat after the show along with the caption "My cat said the show went well."
