Meet Ron Weasley. Ron is a around 5 years old and is currently under the care of Moby Kit Rescue, a foster-based rescue. The rescue believes poor Ron was dumped by his owner after being found as a stray, but he still has the sweetest disposition and isn't as sad as his face appears.

"He greets his foster family with a hilarious little meow at the end of the workday that sounds like he's saying 'hwello'. It's stupidly cute!" shared the rescue.

Ron adores his foster mom's 7-year-old son, as well as other children that have visited the home, so the rescue is comfortable with children in Ron's forever home.

"He is a bit more skittish around adults, so he may have suffered from abuse at one point in his life," said the rescue.

Unfortunately, Ron tested positive for FIV, which is a virus that attacks the immune system. It can be spread to other cats through saliva and blood, and bite wounds are the most common cause of transmission. Though there is no cure for FIV, recent studies suggest that cats with FIV commonly live average life spans, as long as they are not also infected with feline leukemia virus.

Even though Ron is forced to deal with FIV, he still deserves the love of a family, and he has plenty of love to give.
