Lets flashback to 1996, when then sixth-grade teacher, Mary Kay Letourneau’s relationship with her student at the time, Vili Fualaau, went public after she became pregnant with the couple’s first daughter. Now almost 20 years later, the two are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary.

At the time, Letourneau was 34 and married with four kids, and Fualaau was just 12, was learning how to do multiplication and long division. Once the relationship went public, she plead guilty to two counts of second-degree child rape and went to prison, where she gave birth to their second daughter.

Letourneau, 53, and Vili, 31, along with their daughters, Audrey, who is now a 17 year-old high school senior, and Georgia, who is now a 16 year-old high school sophomore, will be featured in an exclusive interview with Barbara Walters tonight at 10 p.m. on ABC News’, “20/20.” According to ABC, the interview is part of Barbara Walters’ upcoming new series, “American Scandal,” on Investigation Discovery, which revisits some of her most famous interviews.

According to ABC News, the two teens, who are in the same school district Mary used to teach in, said their parents have told them how they met, and they knew their mother was different from others when their interaction was limited to prison visits. But the girls seem unfazed by the controversial circumstances of how their family was formed, probably because it's the only life they've ever known.
“There was never a sit-down chat, ‘Now is the time we're going to talk to our children about this,” Mary said, according to ABC News. “They seemed to already know ... because they grew up with it. ... There's just never been a ‘Wow, we better explain.”
